A cold day in Georgia

In an effort to actually do something fun on the weekend instead of just working, cleaning and running errands, we took the boys to the muppet exhibit at the Atlanta History Center. I had no idea that place was so cool. They liked the muppet stuff, but they LOVED the farm out back.
Here are some close ups of Owen and Henry just being Owen and Henry.

Henry spent a lot of time at this fence talking to the sheep inside of it.

Owen's moods come quickly. Here are just some of the many.

One VERY bad haircut

So in an effort to save money I had Thomas take Henry to Great Cuts instead of the kiddie barber-bad idea number 1. He came home with his bangs all crooked and messed up. I got out some scissors to try to fix them-bad idea number 2. They were so messed up when I finished that we decided to get out the clippers and to just give him a crew cut- bad idea number 3. Long story short, Henry is almost entirely bald and looks really weird. All because of an effort to save 5 dollars (which I spent anyway for the barber to even out the crew cut.) I guess the upside is he won't need another haircut for a really long time.

Christmas

We had a very busy but fun Christmas. Here are some of the pics from the days.
Owen and Henry before the pageant. They were a spider and a leopard.
An Easel from Grandaddy and Ellen
Henry understood Christmas this year. He jumped right into the ripping and playing.
Zoe looking sweet
Henry taking a mid-day break from the action
Owen and Henry and some of the spoils
Owen's army ready for battle...or at least to torch something.
Owen and the Beloved Batcave

Here is a group shot of all in attendance (minus Tom who took it)

The timer function

Here is our best attempt at a family photo using the timer.

Caught!!!

Henry is not really allowed to play with Owen's new castle because it has a lot of little parts. Owen thinks it is because the castle is his his his!!!!
In a moment when Thomas, Owen and I were otherwise engaged Henry snuck away with one destination in mind. As you can see he was caught, but as always, had nothing but a smile to say about it.

Weather man and other diversions

Owen went to Fernbank with dad for his one on one time. His favorite feature of the museum was the "Be the Weatherman" station but there were some birds, dinosaurs and fish that caught his eye as well.
